Bio-LNG is an attractive form of use for biomethane — and the most demanding to run. We carry out the liquefaction including gas transport to the European terminals, mass balance and bio-LNG certificates across all process steps.

What matters

Liquefaction changes everything: volume, state, GHG value.

  1. Access to liquefaction capacity is not readily available to everyone.
    As a shipper at the European LNG terminals, we have access to bio-LNG liquefaction capacity.
  2. The process step changes volumes and GHG values — the mass balance has to reflect that.
    Mass balance across the liquefaction step, with correct unit conversion and conversion.
  3. The energy demand of liquefaction affects the GHG value of the end product.
