Service

European gas transport. Not just for the big players.

Cross-border gas shipping is a business for large energy traders: admissions in every country, high collateral, dedicated dispatching teams. With bikosigma as your gas shipping partner, smaller biomethane portfolios move their gas at the same level — capacity, nomination and shipping in one hand.

What matters

Cross-border gas transport has high barriers to entry.

  1. Starting point: Shipper status requires a demanding admission and high collateral in every country. For smaller portfolios this rarely pays off.
The bikosigma answer: Our pooling opens up the European gas market to smaller portfolios too, without their own admission.
  2. Starting point: Capacity bookings run through different platforms, processes and deadlines per market area.
The bikosigma answer: Capacity booking on the relevant platforms, with an eye on term and price.
  3. Starting point: Nominations and renominations have to match daily and across market areas.
The bikosigma answer: Nomination and renomination as a daily routine, not an exception.
  4. Starting point: Unused or badly sized capacity costs money immediately.
The bikosigma answer: Capacity portfolio and transport demand reconciled continuously.
